Cyclone dust collector

A cyclone dust collector is a mechanical device that uses the principle of centrifugal force to separate dust particles from gases. The dust-laden gas enters the cylinder at a tangential angle and rotates at high speed inside. Under the effect of centrifugal force, the dust particles are thrown toward the walls and slide down the cone into the ash hopper for discharge. The purified gas is then released through the top outlet. This device features a simple structure, no moving parts, high-temperature resistance, and easy maintenance. It’s effective for capturing larger dust particles (usually >10 microns) at high concentrations. It’s commonly used in industries like mining, metallurgy, woodworking, and boilers for primary dust removal. However, its efficiency in removing fine particles is limited.
