Wet scrubber spray towerThe wet scrubber spray tower contains multiple core components including spray nozzles, filler layers, circulating water tank and circulating water pump. When waste gas enters the tower body, it fully contacts with the atomized liquid sprayed from the top, and pollutants in the gas are absorbed and dissolved by the washing liquid. After double-layer packing filtration, clean gas is discharged from the top gas outlet.

The transparent viewing window on the tower body is convenient for daily inspection and maintenance, and the independent circulating water tank reduces later operation cost. Working Principle of Industrial Wet Scrubber Spray Tower

The industrial wet scrubber spray tower relies on gas-liquid countercurrent contact to purify waste gas.
Polluted industrial waste gas is drawn into the bottom of the tower by an exhaust fan and flows upward slowly.

Meanwhile, the circulating pump transports the cleaning liquid to multiple layers of spray nozzles at the upper part of the tower. The nozzles atomize the liquid into fine mist and spray it downward.
When upward waste gas meets downward washing mist, dust, odor, acid and alkali harmful substances inside the gas will be fully dissolved and absorbed by the liquid. Multi-layer packing inside the tower can expand the contact area between gas and liquid to raise purification efficiency.After filtration and absorption, clean gas escapes from the exhaust outlet at the top of the tower. Waste liquid containing pollutants falls into the circulating water tank at the bottom for recycling, completing continuous waste gas treatment.

Daily Maintenance & Precautions of Wet Scrubber Spray Tower

Maintenance Content

1. Circulating Water Tank
Drain and clean the sediment in the water tank every 7-10 days to avoid blockage of spray pipes. Replace circulating liquid regularly according to waste gas concentration.

2. Spray Nozzles
Check all spray nozzles weekly. Clear clogged nozzles with clean water; blocked nozzles will reduce purification efficiency.

3. Packing Layer
Take out and rinse the packing every 1–2 months to remove dust and viscous pollutants. Replace aging packing timely.

4. Circulation Water Pump
Check pump noise, pressure and pipeline leakage daily. Lubricate the motor regularly, and repair or replace damaged pumps immediately.

5. Transparent Observation Window & Maintenance Door
Keep the window clean for easy internal inspection. Tighten the sealing strip of maintenance door to prevent gas leakage.

6. Exhaust Fan & Pipeline
Clean dust on fan blades monthly. Check flanges and soft connections for air leakage.

Precautions

1. Strictly match the air volume of the spray tower with the factory waste gas output. Overload operation will cause incomplete purification.

2. Do not add corrosive chemicals that damage PP tower body into circulating water.

3. Stop the equipment first when the factory stops production, then turn off the circulating pump after 10 minutes to wash residual pollutants inside the tower.

4. Inspect all pipelines before startup every day; make sure there is no water leakage or air leakage.

5. In low temperature environment, drain all water inside pump and pipes to prevent freezing and cracking.

6. If thick smoke or abnormal odor appears at the exhaust outlet, shut down the machine to check packing, nozzles and circulating liquid.

7. Regularly test the exhaust emission index to meet local environmental protection standards.
