Bag filters are highly efficient dry filtration devices that utilize fiber-based bag filters as the filtering medium. When dust-laden air enters the filter, the dust is trapped on the outer surface of the bags, while the clean air passes through the bags and is discharged. Regular dust removal procedures, such as pulse jetting or mechanical vibration, ensure that the dust falls into the ash hopper. Bag filters are effective at capturing even very fine dust particles (down to 1 micron). They are suitable for use in environments with high temperatures and high dust concentrations. They’re widely used in industries such as cement, steel, power, and chemicals.
