Spray tower

A spray tower is a type of waste gas treatment device. It sprays an absorbent liquid (such as water or chemical solutions) through nozzles inside the tower, allowing it to come into full contact with the flowing waste gas. Physical absorption or chemical reactions are utilized to remove pollutants such as dust, acidic gases (like sulfur dioxide and hydrogen chloride), and soluble organic substances. The spray tower also serves to cool the waste gas. It’s widely used in industries like chemicals, power generation, metallurgy, and spraying for pollution control. It’s often used as a pre-treatment unit in conjunction with other environmental protection equipment, such as activated carbon adsorption units.
