Our industrial PP scrubber system, also known as spray absorption tower, is a professional anti-corrosion waste gas purification equipment with CE certification, widely applied in chemical, electroplating, printing, coating, metallurgy, laboratory and factory exhaust treatment industries.
The whole tower body is made of thickened polypropylene (PP) material, featuring excellent acid, alkali and chemical corrosion resistance, long service life and low maintenance cost. Customizable sizes and multi-layer spray structures are available to match different waste gas flow rates and pollutant concentrations.
Equipped with observation windows, circulating water tank, high-efficiency spray nozzles, packing layers and demisting device, the equipment can effectively absorb, neutralize and filter harmful volatile organic compounds (VOCs), acid mist, alkaline waste gas, hydrogen chloride, sulfur dioxide and other industrial exhaust pollutants.

Features of a scrubbing tower
Main Components of PP Industrial Scrubber Spray Tower
1.Industrial PP Spray Scrubber tower Body (PP Main Shell) Made of thick anti-corrosion polypropylene integrated molding. Reserved multiple transparent observation manholes for real-time inspection of internal spray, packing and liquid level conditions. Support customized diameter and height according to customer air volume demand.
2.Air Inlet & Outlet Flange Side air inlet at tower bottom connects exhaust fan to send waste gas into the tower; top air outlet for discharging purified clean gas. Standard PP flange interface, easy pipe connection.
3.Circulation Water Tank (Integrated Base) Integrated water storage tank at the bottom of tower body, store neutralizing absorption liquid. Equipped with liquid inlet, sewage outlet and overflow port for convenient dosing, sludge discharge and liquid level control.
4.Circulation Pump & Spray Pipeline System Corrosion-resistant PP circulation pump transports liquid to multi-layer horizontal spray pipes inside the tower. Equipped with anti-clogging atomizing nozzles, evenly atomize the absorption liquid to form dense liquid curtain.
5.Packing Layer & Support Plate Polypropylene pall ring / ladder ring packing filled on the support grid plate. Greatly expand gas-liquid contact area, prolong reaction time to improve waste gas neutralization efficiency. Multiple packing layers optional for high-concentration waste gas.
6.Demisting Layer (Mist Eliminator) Installed at the upper part above spray layers, adopts PP baffle demister. Capture water mist carried by treated gas, avoid liquid escape, reduce water loss and secondary pollution.
7.Auxiliary Accessories Support platform, maintenance ladder, liquid level gauge, dosing port, drain valve, inspection cover, connecting pipes and installation fasteners.
Working principle of scrubbing tower
1.Gas Inlet Stage Polluted industrial waste gas is blown into the bottom of the scrubber tower by an induced draft fan, and rises upward uniformly inside the tower.
2.Spray & Packing Absorption Stage Circulating purification liquid (neutralizing solution according to gas property: alkaline liquid for acid waste gas, acid liquid for alkaline mist) is pumped to multi-layer top spray pipes. Fine atomized liquid droplets spray downwards, fully contacting the upward rising waste gas through the filler layer. Harmful gas molecules dissolve and chemically react with the liquid to form soluble salt substances, which are trapped in the circulating liquid. The multi-layer packing greatly increases the contact area between gas and liquid, improving purification effect.
3.Demisting Separation Stage After absorption treatment, the clean gas carries tiny water mist upwards to the top demister layer. The demisting plate intercepts water droplets to prevent liquid mist from escaping with exhaust gas, avoiding secondary pollution and water loss.
4.Clean Gas Discharge & Liquid Circulation Stage Qualified purified gas is discharged from the top air outlet up to standard. The contaminated circulating liquid flows down to the bottom water tank for recycling. Regular replacement or dosing of neutralizing liquid maintains continuous purification performance.
