Cyclone Spray Scrubber Tower Our Cyclone Spray Tower (also called hybrid cyclone scrubber, pneumatic swirl washing tower) is an advanced wet exhaust gas purification equipment integrating centrifugal cyclone separation and liquid spray absorption, independently developed for complex industrial waste gas with sticky paint mist, oily dust, acid & alkaline volatile gas and VOC solvent fumes.
Different from traditional simple spray towers, this equipment adopts multi-stage swirl mixing technology. It solves the core pain points of ordinary towers such as easy blockage by paint residue, low fine dust removal efficiency and insufficient gas-liquid contact reaction. The tower body can be customized with 304/316 stainless steel or anti-corrosion PP plastic to adapt to corrosive waste gas environments.

Working Principle:
1.Cyclone Spray Scrubber Tower Tangential Air Intake & High-speed Cyclone Pre-separation Polluted waste gas enters the tower tangentially under the negative pressure of exhaust fan, and forms strong rotating airflow through built-in swirl blades.
Heavy pollutants such as large paint slag, metal grinding dust and oil particles are thrown to the tower wall by centrifugal force, flow down with circulating water into the bottom sediment tank for centralized slag collection. This step removes over 70% of large sticky impurities to avoid internal blockage.
2.Gas-liquid Emulsified Mixing & Spray Absorption The residual fine waste gas rises into the multi-layer spray zone. Corrosion-resistant spiral nozzles atomize neutralizing absorption liquid (water, lye, acid solution) into tiny droplets. The rotating airflow forces gas and liquid to collide violently and form emulsified mixing, maximizing contact area. Acid-base gas neutralizes with absorption liquid; fine paint mist and dust particles are fully captured by liquid droplets.
3.Cyclone Spray Scrubber Tower Packing Reinforced Adsorption Layer (Optional) Customizable polypropylene packing layer is installed between spray sections to prolong gas residence time. Trace volatile solvent gas and micro dust are secondarily absorbed to improve purification efficiency.
4.Demisting Layer Water Mist Separation Purified gas flows upward to the top baffle demister layer. Residual water mist entrained in clean air collides with folded baffles, condenses into water droplets and flows back to the water storage tank, preventing water mist from escaping outdoors.
5.Circulating Water Recycling & Sludge Sedimentation Waste water mixed with paint sludge and dust sinks to the bottom sediment tank. Solid pollutants settle at the bottom for regular cleaning; clean supernatant is pumped back to the spray system for cyclic reuse, realizing water recycling and low water consumption. Fully purified gas is discharged up to standard through the top exhaust outlet.
